Cast aluminium base supported by four continuous splaying tubular chromed legs joined at the base by a central boss. Original cork seat was lost and has been restored with new bevelled cork, based on the original design.

From what we were able to find after researching was that these stools were manufactured by Lightalloys Limited as they produced the trade marked ALPAX aluminium silicon alloy that the seat of these stools in made from, they are stamped with the Alpax logo on the underside. The designer at this point remains unknown.
