Tub cane backed nursing chair reupholstered with Maharam’s Assembled Check designed by Paul Smith. We applied this fabric as it evoked for us the industrial design of the 30’s and the Utility Program of the 40’s. This era included designers such as Enid Marx and Paul Nash both of which have connections to East Sussex where we are based.
